Nashville, Tenn.—October 14, 2025—I Didn’t Come Here To Leave, the tenth album from multi-platinum artist Chris Young, marks the start of a new chapter for the global entertainer. With the release of his tenth album, and first with Black River Entertainment, Young has “cemented himself as one of the genre’s most recognizable talents” (Country Now). Friday’s album release also coincides with the 8th anniversary of Young’s induction into the exclusive membership of the Grand Ole Opry.

The weeks ahead will have the superstar making appearances from coast-to-coast:

  • Thursday, October 16: Young will play a free show, premiering songs from the new album, at Loser’s in Nashville. “Boots On The Ground” music video will make its broadcast debut in rotation across CMT Channels. Filmed at Cahoots Dance Hall & Honkytonk outside Nashville, “Boots On The Ground” features a performance from Chris and a line dance choreographed by George Blick.
  • Friday, October 17: I Didn’t Come Here To Leave releases on the 8th anniversary of Young’s Opry induction. “Boots On The Ground” music video will be featured on Paramount’s Times Square Billboard.
  • Saturday, October 18: Headlines “Boots In The Park” (Tucson, AZ). Find tickets HERE.
  • Tuesday, October 21: Tune in as Young performs “Boots On The Ground” during Live with Kelly & Mark.
  • Wednesday, October 22: Tune in as Young performs the lead single, “Til The Last One Dies” during Fox & Friends (Fox News).

Praised as “one of the genre’s most beloved performers” (Men’s Journal), each of the 14 songs on Young’s upcoming album, I Didn’t Come Here To Leave, captures another essential element of a country life, expressed through equal measures of good-timing energy, and graceful grit. Young first teased the new project with the “romantic, wedding-worthy” lead single, “Til The Last One Dies” currently rising on the country radio and streaming charts.
