Chris Young Expands 10th Album With I Didn’t Come Here To Leave (Deluxe) – Available June 12th

(Nashville, TN — May 22, 2026) — Black River Entertainment’s Chris Young today released “One Of Us,” a duet with current rising star Shaylen, as the first track from his Deluxe version of I Didn’t Come Here To Leave (June 12). The song juxtaposes two different sides of heartbreak, with Shaylen as the counterpart to Chris Young’s melancholic half of a break-up.

The expanded collection was co-produced by Young and collaborator, Andy Sheridan. Other added tracks include “Wedding Band”, a one-that-got-away story from a unique perspective, and “If You’re Lucky,” a playful yet haunting duet with BRELAND about the allure of an irresistible but unpredictable woman. Young and BRELAND co-wrote the song along with Matt McVarney some five years ago.
“When we wrote it I don’t think we originally intended on having both of us on it, but when I listened again for the Deluxe record, I knew it needed us both. Our voices complement each other and the track,” says Chris.
The release of I Didn’t Come Here To Leave (Deluxe) drops as the title track goes to country radio. Already generating a buzz ahead of the June 15th radio add date, the song has been streamed more than 24 million times.
Also just ahead for Chris is the grand opening of his Midtown Nashville sports bar – aptly named Famous Friends after his chart-topping hit of the same moniker. The space is designed to celebrate the spirit of community, music and the unforgettable friendships formed in Music City.
