Chris Young Releases Deluxe Album; Title Track Among Most Added At Country Radio

Chris returns to the Opry stage this Thursday, June 18th, to celebrate the release.
(Nashville, TN — June 15, 2026) — Chris Young expands his debut Black River Entertainment album with I Didn’t Come Here To Leave (Deluxe), released Friday, June 12th. Now 17 tracks, the project features “If You’re Lucky” with BRELAND, capturing the playful yet cautionary allure of an irresistible but unpredictable woman.
“When we wrote it I don’t think we originally intended on having both of us on it, but when I listened again for the Deluxe record, I knew it needed us both. Our voices complement each other and the track,” says Chris.
Early programming support for the track includes placement on Spotify’s New Music Friday, Apple Music’s Country Risers, and more.
Previously released “One Of Us,” with rising country star Shaylen is also featured along with “Wedding Band,” a one-that-got-away story told from a unique perspective. The expanded collection was co-produced by Young and collaborator, Andy Sheridan.

Approaching a decade as a member of the Grand Ole Opry, Chris will mark the release with a return to the iconic stage on June 18. The special performance will include the first-ever live performances of “One of Us” with Shaylen and “If You’re Lucky” with BRELAND.
