Country-pop rising artist Dasha took the stage on The Kelly Clarkson Show to deliver a performance of “She's So Gone,” which is featured on Disney's Main Street Country EP. Putting her own spin on the beloved track from the Disney Channel Original Movie Lemonade Mouth (2011), she infused it with a fresh, contemporary country style. The television performance marks another milestone in Dasha's already decorated career, including being nominated for ACM New Female Artist of the Year.

Alongside Dasha, the five-track EP, released on April 3, included contributions from Kane Brown and Katelyn Brown, Restless Road, Maddie & Tae, and BRELAND, uniting a lineup of award-winning artists to reinterpret classic Disney songs through a contemporary country lens. Following the momentum of the pop-punk Disney covers project A Whole New Sound, Main Street Country marked the newest release in the ongoing Mickey & Friends music series.

About Dasha

Since childhood, Dasha never doubted if she'd make it in music—only when. After spending years writing over one thousand songs—including her current 55x platinum single, “Austin (Boots Stop Workin'),” when has finally arrived. What followed was nothing short of sensational. The singer landed coveted spots at country music meccas in 2024, Stagecoach, Austin City Limits, CMT Awards, and CMA Fest. Her year didn't stop there, though. She sold out her first global headlining tour, Dashville USA, and performed on two of the biggest televised broadcasts of the year – Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and Dick Clark's Rockin' New Year's Eve. The song went on to become one of the most-streamed country songs in 2024 and won the Female Song of 2024 at the People's Choice Country Awards.

“This past year, I was blown away by how many little girls were riding the rails at my shows,” Dasha says. “No one connects with perfection. For me, navigating the highs and lows of this industry means accepting that I'm going to make mistakes. This journey isn't always going to be smooth, and the bumps along the way make for a far more interesting ride.” As for 2025, Dasha took the necessary time to reflect on her whirlwind career so far, allowing her to tap into writing her most personal collection of songs yet. Part one of her two-part project, Anna, was released this fall and includes the introspective anthem “Not At This Party,” the fun and flirty “Work On  Me,” and a love letter to her younger self, “Oh, Anna!” as well as five other tracks. From selling out another headline tour, sharing the stage with Thomas Rhett, and playing stadiums around the world with Kane Brown, Dasha continues to build a powerful fan base across the globe. “This is where I'm supposed to be. I love this community…and I think you can tell I'm really excited to be here.”
