In one of the most unexpected and entertaining moments of the night, Gary LeVox teamed up with R&B/hip-hop legend Akon to perform “Hold the Umbrella.” The song is undeniably cheesy, but the sheer joy of seeing one of country music’s most recognizable voices paired with a global star was infectious. The crowd loved every minute of it, and the energy was electric.

Before leaving the stage, Akon gave the audience a little treat with an acapella version of his hit “I Wanna Love You.” The collaboration was a perfect example of BMG’s ability to create unique and memorable moments, proving that music knows no boundaries.
