Jackie Martínez Marushka Launches 501(c)(3) – Hispanic Entertainment Alliance Charitable Fund
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 11, 2026 ) — The Hispanic Entertainment Alliance (HEA), founded by entertainment PR strategist, Jackie Martínez Marushka, announces the launch of the association’s official 501(c)(3): Hispanic Entertainment Alliance Charitable Fund.
Hispanic Entertainment Alliance was founded by Marushka in 2019 and has become a vibrant community dedicated to supporting the Hispanic and Latin American creative community in arenas of the entertainment industry including film (indie and commercial motion picture), photographers, fashion designers, actors, authors, vocalists, musicians, songwriters, and support teams made up of managers, publicists, graphic designers, venues, venue bookers, touring staff, and business managers.
“Jackie is truly part of our Foundation family and supporting her philanthropic vision through the Hispanic Entertainment Alliance Charitable Fund is an honor. Amplifying these outstanding nonprofit partners reflects the kind of impact we strive to make,” says Rondal Richardson, Director of Entertainment Philanthropy at Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee.
“Just before I moved to Nashville from New Mexico in 1995, my mother locked eyes with me and said, ‘No te olvides tu cultura’ which translates to ‘Don’t forget your culture’ — I didn’t forget and it’s her statement that drives me daily,” says Marushka.
“As I settled into Music City I quickly realized there wasn’t a collective of Latíne/Hispanic creatives. The community wasn’t non-existent, but it was difficult to find. So I went to work at growing it and doing my best to open doors for others like me. I’m honored to have served on boards including the Tennessee Latin American Chamber of Commerce, The Recording Academy, The Americana Music Association, Whippoorwill Arts and others. But I didn’t do it solely for my own growth; I did it in order to represent the many who had not yet been invited to sit at these tables. I’m passionate about opening doors and creating long-term opportunities because I know how hard it can be to break through. I’m proud of the inroads we’ve made so far, and for those we will continue to make.”
Through the Hispanic Entertainment Alliance’s workshops, mentor programs and industry access, Marushka—a nominee for the 2025 Origins Impact Champion Award recognizing significant contributions to the Nashville music community—has already created real pathways forward for artists and creatives in Middle Tennessee’s Latíne/Hispanic entertainment community. The Fund represents the next step in that mission—creating sustainable pathways for creatives while investing in cultural preservation and positive community impact.
The Fund will spotlight some of our favorite nonprofit organizations including the Americana Music Foundation, Break Thru TN, Compassion Through Action, Country Latin Hispanic Family Foundation, MusiCares, Musicians Hall of Fame & Museum, National Association of Hispanic Journalists, NMAAM, Origins Music Impact, Whippoorwill Arts and others who support arts, education, and cultural work around the country. I’m deeply grateful to the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, and especially Rondal Richardson, for helping bring this vision to life.
