(October 3, 2025) – Today, four-time, Grammy®-nominated artist Mickey Guyton unveiled her vivacious new track “Sugar Cookie”, which can be streamed HERE via MCA and will appear on her upcoming holiday album, Feels Like Christmas, that will be released on Oct. 24. The album can be pre-saved HERE.

The first single from the album, “Sugar Cookie,” serves as the perfect soundtrack for lovers this holiday season. Mickey playfully sings, “Let’s light a fire we’ll be gettin’ nice and cozy. Cuddled right up, cheeks gettin rosy. We got everything we need. The perfect recipe.” Mickey concludes the song with “Like a Christmas sweater. When we bake together. Everything is merry and bright. I wanna sprinkle you in kisses, baby you’re delicious. You keep my sweet tooth satisfied. My sugarrrrrrrr.” The single is also accompanied by a festive visualizer, available to watch HERE.

“Sugar Cookie” marks Mickey’s first new music release since March, when she unveiled her powerful rendition of the Ringo Starr classic “You Don’t Know Me at All.” Mickey first performed the song in January this year during Ringo & Friends at the Ryman, a star-studded concert special featuring Ringo and a roster of his celebrated musical friends, filmed at Nashville’s iconic Ryman Auditorium.

Feels Like Christmas marks Mickey’s first full-length holiday album, serving fans a fresh sound that showcases her versatility as an artist. The festive release follows her dynamic sophomore album House On Fire (September 2024), featuring standout tracks “Scary Love,” “Make It Me,” and “My Side of the Country.”

The energetic, holiday single comes ahead of Mickey’s performance alongside the legendary Cyndi Lauper for the CBS special “A GRAMMY® Salute to Cyndi Lauper: Live from the Hollywood Bowl” on Oct. 5. Mickey and a slew of other dynamic artists including Joni Mitchell, John Legend, SZA, Billie Eilish, and more come together to perform some of Cyndi’s most iconic songs as she concludes her “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Farewell Tour.”

Further embracing the holiday spirit, Mickey will join a lineup of country music stars in the highly anticipated Hallmark movie “A Grand Ole Opry Christmas.” A familiar face to the network, Mickey has been a Hallmark favorite since the release of “Heaven Down Here,” a movie inspired by her song of the same name.

She recently graced the cover of Variety Magazine and Variety also presented her with the Power of Women award to honor her advocacy efforts for diversity inclusion, gender equality, and community mental wellness. Most recently, Mickey showcased her fashion expertise as a guest judge on the 21st season of the hit TV series Project Runway.

Over the summer, she reached new international heights on China’s #1 competitive music show, The Singer, which draws an average of 115 million viewers each week. She made history as the first American artist to ever place as runner-up. Earlier this year, she also played in the NBA Celebrity All-Star Game in a star-studded group that included Druski, Kai Cenat, 2 Chainz, Terrell Owens, and more.

On top of her busy schedule, Mickey will hit the road this fall with tour stops in Saint Paul, MN, Nashville, TN, and Grand Rapids, MI, running from Oct. 10 through Jan. 14. Tickets are currently available for purchase at https://www.mickeyguyton.com/tour.
