Modern Country Traditionalist Spencer Hatcher Pushes ‘Love Button’ – Releasing Honky-Tonk Party Tune Today (3/20)
NASHVILLE, TN (March 20, 2026) – Stone Country Records’ modern country traditionalist Spencer Hatcher today released “Love Button,” a super-fun, honky-tonk party tune sure to make you smile.
Bringing a heart-thumping, wild country band to a sweet-but-spicy lyric about an irresistible new woman who’s doin’ all the right things, “Love Button” is Hatcher’s first new music since the release of his critically acclaimed debut EP, Honky Tonk Hideaway, last November.

The throwback track—featuring barn-burning fiddle and Eddie Cochran-inspired rockabilly guitar—was produced by Jason Sellers, Ilya Toshinskiy (Jelly Roll), and Mickey Jack Cones (Joe Nichols).
“What we did in the studio, I think, really captured the specialness of the song,” says Hatcher. “It’s raw, pure country music—very ’90s country—and it’s been getting a phenomenal response at my live performances. ‘Love Button’ is definitely a feel-good, happy, fun song that people can sing along to.”
“Love Button” was penned by David Lee Murphy (Justin Moore’s “Why We Drink”), Shane Minor (Kenny Chesney’s “Live a Little”), and Brice Long (Gary Allan’s “Nothing On but the Radio”), three tunesmiths who know how to write a good-time No. 1 country hit. The opening lyric introduces us to a fairly unflappable fellow, but then he meets his love match and becomes a very different man by the time we reach the song’s fevered chorus:
Oh, you’re pushin’ my love button
You’re doin’ all the right things
All this kissin’ and huggin’ is tuggin’ on my ole heart strings
Yeah, you’re pushin’ my love button
You gotta know what you’re puttin’ me through
The way you’re flippin’ my switches
You got me fallin’ in love with you
“Love Button” arrives as Hatcher continues to receive accolades for his debut EP, which features his debut radio single, “When She Calls Me Cowboy,” a steamy slow dance about a cheeky term of endearment used behind closed doors.
The single became a Top 10 Most Added Song at U.S. Country Radio (Mediabase), earning double-digit adds out-of-the-box. This past Saturday (3/14), the “When She Calls Me Cowboy” official music video reached No. 1 on Taste of Country’s fan-voted “Top 10 Video Countdown,” capping Hatcher’s 20 consecutive weeks in the countdown’s Top 5.
Taste of Country has named the burgeoning star as one of its “RISERS: 2026 Artists to Watch,” declaring, “Spencer Hatcher Might Be Country Music’s Next Big Traditionalist.” Saving Country Music has lauded Hatcher as “one of the most promising up-and-coming voices in traditional country music,” and Billboard has noted that his sound “fits the ’90s-country revival that’s still turning heads among the genre’s base.”
Recently signed to WME, Hatcher has been opening for the likes of Larry Fleet, Diamond Rio, Aaron Tippin, and Josh Turner while also continuing to headline his own shows.

ABOUT SPENCER HATCHER
Stone Country Records’ Spencer Hatcher is a bluegrass-influenced country artist who was raised on a farm in the heartland of Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley. By the age of 11, he was already playing his five-string banjo in his family’s bluegrass band. In 2020, Hatcher formed his own country band, backed by younger brother Connor Hatcher, a bass prodigy and “blood harmony” supporting vocalist.
Dubbed the “String King” by his hometown newspaper and quickly developing a reputation across Virginia and neighboring states as an exciting live performer, Hatcher self-booked and played more than 150 shows a year in both 2023 and 2024, often setting venue attendance records.
Hatcher has built a strong fan base, including more than 900,000 social media followers. On TikTok alone, the rising star has amassed over 71 million organic views and 8.9 million likes. This led to a high-profile partnership with PepsiCo, with Hatcher co-writing and performing a bluegrass jingle for a nationwide commercial for Mountain Dew Major Melon.
Hatcher’s debut EP, Honky Tonk Hideaway, features his steamy debut single, “When She Calls Me Cowboy,” which was a Top 10 Most Added Song at U.S. Country Radio (Mediabase) out-of-the-box. The single’s official music video has reached No. 1 on Taste of Country’s fan-voted “Top 10 Video Countdown.” Hatcher’s latest release, “Love Button,” is a super-fun, honky-tonk party tune sure to make you smile.
