Nashville, TN (June 6, 2025) – Independent Country newcomer Remy Garrison today releases her new Pop-Country bop, “Sweet ‘N Low.” The upbeat summer-ready track finds Garrison getting the trick instead of a treat in a relationship and rightfully spitting it out. Written by Garrison, Austin Cannon, Abbey Cabler, and JB Somers, the song explores the all-too-relatable scenario of dating someone who quickly goes from sweet to bitter, ala the artificial sweetener that bears its name.

Produced by Austin Cannon, the song has a chanty, yell-it-in-your-car energy with its playful use of synth, layered background harmonies (taken from the original demo), and liberating spirit. Garrison’s sugary sweet vocals stand tall over the R&B and Pop-infused groove and blend with southern guitar tones, delivering an anthem for all those who have also been played by deceptive plebeians.

“I was sipping an energy drink in a different writer’s room and the artificial sweeteners hit me just so and I thought ‘looks like sugar, tastes like betrayal…kind of like my ex, one minute he was Prince Charming and then suddenly transformed into red flag central… and the idea for the song was born,” laughed Garrison. “I hope anybody who has had the script flipped on them hears this and remembers that it’s a reflection on them, not you and to trust your gut and get out!”

Today Remy will kick off CMA Fest at the ASCAP Music Takeover at 6th & Peabody, performing at 11am before heading to Fan Fair X to meet and greet fans with Nashville Universe at 2pm.
