Sammy Arriaga Delivers Heart In Texas – The First Bilingual Country Latino Album

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (October 31, 2025) — Country Latino artist, Sammy Arriaga is known for songs which “perfectly blend genres” (Charted Magazine), and a social media following in the millions which includes shout outs from Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and country phenom, Jelly Roll. Answering the call for a second full album, Arriaga responds with the 14-track Heart in Texas (Dead Rose Records/Walk Off Entertainment), out today.

This album is an industry-first, offering seven tracks in English and six in Spanish with a Freddy Fender cover of “Before The Next Teardrop Falls” as track seven, making the listening experience seamless in its flow from English to Spanish.

The Miami-born, Cuban-American recording artist and songwriter has pioneered a contagious Country Latino sound with colorful storytelling rooted in Country, Americana and Latin stylings, even curating his now-viral “Country Latino Sessions” on YouTube.

Arriaga shares, “Heart in Texas comes from a place of patience and purpose. Since releasing my last album three years ago, I wanted to create something that brought both of my worlds together as one. Instead of separating English and Spanish versions, I let them breathe side by side, just like they do in my life. This album has a little bit of everything — fun songs to dance to, heartbreak ones to drink to, and romantic ones to make memories with. I’m proud to stand tall in my roots and to represent the community that sees itself in my story.”

Along with the 10 songs Arriaga has released through 2025, he recorded two brand new songs — “On Purpose” and “Can’t Turn On The Radio,” sealing his signature Country Latino sound.

“‘On Purpose (Las Ganas)’ is a fun, flirty tune about a guy completely lost in his girl’s charm, and she knows exactly the effect she has on everyone around her. It’s confident, playfully jealous, and full of swagger, capturing that electric tension between love and temptation,” says Arriaga. “With its blend of modern country storytelling and infectious Latin rhythms, the song brings two worlds together in a way that feels fresh, fiery, and impossible not to dance to.”
