The Interlude Celebrates Official Launch With Artist Showcase During CMA Fest Week

Nashville-based artist development company The Interlude officially launched on Thursday, June 4 with a packed industry and fan celebration at Hit Parader Nashville during CMA Fest week. Hosted by Jess Antonette, the launch party showcased performances from The Interlude’s current artist roster—JB Somers, Amy Peters, and Remy Garrison—while introducing the company’s artist-first approach to development, management, and creative direction.

“This night represented everything The Interlude stands for,” said Nix. “Seeing our artists share their stories on stage, surrounded by a room full of people who genuinely believe in them, was incredibly special. The goal has always been to create an environment where artists feel supported, empowered, and free to build careers that are authentic to who they are.”

Founded by artist manager and creative director Chrissy Nix, The Interlude was created to help independent artists bridge the gap between emerging artistry and mainstream breakthrough through holistic career development, creative strategy, and advocacy. The launch event brought together fans, industry professionals, creatives, and supporters from across Nashville’s music community to celebrate the company’s next chapter.

The evening opened with a performance from NBC’s The Voice alum JB Somers, whose emotionally charged set showcased the vulnerability and authenticity that have become hallmarks of his artistry. Blending soaring vocals and breathtaking harmonies, Somers captivated the audience with songs centered on healing and self-acceptance, setting the tone for the evening’s celebration of artistic individuality.

Amy Peters followed with a mesmerizing set that highlighted her unique strengths as an artist, songwriter, and producer. Through a combination of soaring vocals, cinematic production, and thoughtful visual storytelling, Peters transformed the stage into an immersive experience, inviting the audience into the richly crafted world behind her music. The performance underscored the creative vision that has earned her more than 15 million career streams and a steadily expanding national audience.

Closing the evening was LADYGUNN’s “Artist to Watch”, Remy Garrison, whose performance transformed Hit Parader Nashville into a celebration of her confidence and undeniable momentum. Drawing from her acclaimed S.H.H. (DELUXE) project, Garrison moved seamlessly between powerhouse vocals and crowd-engaging moments, commanding attention throughout her set. As attendees sang, danced, and gathered closer to the stage, Garrison delivered a fitting finale to the night.

The launch party served as a fitting introduction to a roster defined by artistic individuality rather than genre boundaries. While each artist brought a distinct sound and perspective to the stage, together they embodied The Interlude‘s mission of developing artists whose careers are built on authenticity, creative excellence, and long-term sustainability.
