Thomason & Adam Hood Team Up for a Soul-Searching Ride on “100 Miles of Highway”

Nashville, TN (June 12, 2026) – Rising singer/songwriter Thomason joins forces with acclaimed songwriter and artist Adam Hood for “100 Miles of Highway,” a deeply reflective new collaboration available everywhere now. Written by Trey Lewis (Thomason), Matt McKinney and Jordan Walker, the song captures the perspective found somewhere between the glow of dashboard lights and an endless stretch of open road. As mile markers pass by, the Alabama natives reflect on the people, places and pivotal moments that shaped their lives, considering how different things might have been had just one piece of the story changed.

While “100 Miles of Highway” explores life’s endless “what ifs,” its heart lies in an appreciation for the journey itself. Through reflections on family, hard-earned lessons and the twists and turns that shape a life, Thomason and Hood find gratitude in the experiences that made them who they are today, ultimately discovering meaning in the road that brought them here. Listen to “100 Miles of Highway HERE.

“’100 Miles of Highway’ has always been one of my favorite songs and getting the chance to bring it to life with Adam Hood is a dream come true,” shares Thomason. “He’s someone I’ve looked up to for years, and having his touch on this track took it to a whole new level. I hope it resonates with anyone out there chasing their own path, one mile at a time.”

“100 Miles of Highway” follows Thomason’s critically acclaimed debut WHITE VAN EP, a four-song collection shaped by redemption, road miles and nearly 20 years of sobriety. Marking his first body of work under his given last name, it stands as the most hard-earned chapter yet in the story of Trey Lewis. Inviting listeners into the passenger seat of his journey, Thomason leaned into the spaces between past and future, delivering a collection rooted in second chances, steady faith and some of his most soul-baring songwriting to date. COWGIRL Magazine hailed it as “a powerful introduction to Thomason’s most emotionally grounded work yet,” while Entertainment Focus praised his “songwriting that sits with you,” and All Country News declared that “Thomason proves that country music still thrives on heart, honesty, and the courage to stand firm on the hills that matter most.”

Following his Bluebird Café debut this spring, Thomason is set to make his debut at The Listening Room Café on Tuesday, July 14 at 8:30P CT, with tickets available HERE.
