Vincent Mason Unveils New Track “Don’t Ask Me”

Nominated For 2026 ACM New Male Artist of the Year

Currently Opening for Morgan Wallen’s Stadium Still The Problem Tour

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (April 17, 2026) – Interscope/MCA Nashville/Music Soup songwriter and artist Vincent Mason returns with “Don’t Ask Me,” a new track out now. This new song comes on the heels of the announcement that he was nominated for ACM New Male Artist of the Year at this year’s ACM Awards, which will take place in Las Vegas on May 17th.

“Don’t Ask Me” lives in that quiet, unsettled space after everything falls apart, the part no one really talks about. It’s not polished, it’s just honest. We leaned into the details, the restless nights, the questions you don’t have answers for yet, and let the imagery sit right there in the middle of it.

Told through the eyes of someone still wrestling with the aftermath of a breakup, “Don’t Ask Me” stands out for its raw, specific imagery. The track’s driving rhythms and vivid storytelling capture the confusion and restlessness that follow heartbreak. Written by Mason with an all-star group of songwriters, including Luke Laird, Hillary Lindsey, and Jack Rauton, the lyrics delve deep into those emotions. Lyrics such as “Don’t ask me how I’m doing, don’t ask me how I’ve been, don’t ask about those empty cans rolling around in my truck bed” paint a portrait of a man sorting through regrets, searching for answers he may never find.

He’s landed Top 40 airplay in Canada, climbed to #14 on the UK Country Airplay chart, and surged to #2 on Australia’s CountryTown Top 50, signaling an already massive global audience. After a standout set at CMC Rocks in Australia and international dates supporting Jordan Davis, he’s now stepping back into his own spotlight with a run of headlining spring shows while also joining Morgan Wallen on select U.S. stadium shows.
