(Nashville, Tennessee…) — May 1, 2026 – Gretchen Wilson’s return to rowdy single, “Redneck Shit,” is available today on her Redneck Records label in a new partnership with Thirty Tigers. The boot-stompin’, beer-slingin’ ode to unfiltered rural life echoes the spirit of her breakthrough hits “Redneck Woman,” “Here For The Party,” and “All Jacked Up.” Save/Add the new single HERE.
The raucous music video – think “Redneck Woman” on steroids – is also available today on Gretchen’s YouTube channel. Shot on a farm – that will never be the same – outside Nashville, the clip features just about anything redneck imaginable including a singing catfish, smoking chicken, a beautiful woman chewin’ tobacco, pickle moonshine, four-wheelin’, some Daisy Dukes, and a butler serving up Busch and Bud.
Cameos doing Redneck Shit in the video include award-winning singer, songwriter, and comedian Sarah Beth Terry, Jessie G, Magnolia Rising, and artist, TV host and champion quad racer Krista Marie Oswald. The clip was directed by Dolton Snedden and produced by Troy Jackson for DS Creatives Agency. Gretchen wrote the song with Jacob Summers, Krista Marie Oswald, and Sarah Beth Terry, and she also produced the track with Ryan Nelson.

With lyrics painting vivid scenes of ass-less chaps, mud-flingin’ fun, backyard bars, and family traditions, the track delivers an infectious chorus packed with grit, humor, and downhome pride. Verses celebrate creek swimmin’, Hank crankin’, and blue-collar hustle, while the bridge soars with patriotic flair: “Country / Where the eagle flies across American skies.” It’s pure Gretchen—raw, real, and ready to rally her loyal fanbase of redneck rebels.

Gretchen Wilson is back—and louder, prouder, and rowdier than ever. The GRAMMY-winning, chart-topping country star who gave us the anthem “Redneck Woman” hit the road early this year on her powerhouse “Still Here for the Party” Tour, reminding the world she’s still got the grit, soul, and fire fans fell in love with. She will join some of the top names in country music when she performs at the iHeartCountry Festival at the Moody Center in Austin on Saturday.
