Hudson Ingram Releases New EP The Long Way Home (Vol. 1)
May 1, 2026 – Los Angeles, CA – Today, 19-year-old Nashville-based singer-songwriter Hudson Ingram releases his new EP, The Long Way Home (Vol. 1), out now via Long Pond music / Interscope Records through a joint venture with Aaron Dessner. The project produced alongside Adam Melchor and Jack Schrepferman marks the first chapter in Hudson’s upcoming trilogy EP rollout, introducing an introspective body of work about growing up, leaving home young to chase a dream, and returning as the person shaped by that journey.
Featuring previously released tracks “Real Life,” “Baby Just Be,” and “Linger,” alongside new music including the focus track “Don’t Get Me Started” feat. Sydney Rose, The Long Way Home (Vol. 1) captures Hudson’s most personal chapter yet. Across the project, Hudson leans into the emotional clarity and straightforward storytelling that have quickly become his signature, blending indie-pop warmth, Americana-rooted songwriting, and heartfelt reflections on change, distance, and self-discovery.
“I started writing these songs when I felt miles away from myself. This project is me trying to find my way back to something real…not the version of me people expect, but the one that actually feels like home. The Long Way Home is about growing up, leaving, and realizing you don’t come back the same person, but also that maybe that’s the point.” – Hudson Ingram
On “Don’t Get Me Started,” Hudson teams up with Sydney Rose for a delicate and emotionally rich standout that deepens the world of The Long Way Home. The track brings together two intimate voices, unfolding with the kind of honesty and quiet intensity that defines Hudson’s approach to songwriting. Raised in a musical Texas household immersed in country and pop, Hudson’s new project expands on the world he has been building with each release. He continues to establish himself as a focused young songwriter with a distinct point of view, pairing youthful vulnerability with an old-soul sense of reflection. With The Long Way Home (Vol. 1), Hudson Ingram positions himself as one of today’s most promising new voices while setting the tone for the larger story still to come. The project also arrives as Hudson continues building momentum on the road, having recently wrapped a run of dates with Brenn at Rolling Stone’s Stateside Festival in Kingston, NY. More music and announcements from Hudson Ingram are coming soon.
