“Any Other Girl” is a hurts-so-good, laid-back country groove about how some heartbreaks are harder to get over than others. Uplifting vocal harmonies paired with weeping pedal steel capture the relatable contradictions of a beautiful sadness about one that leaves you “hat down low / honky tonk stoned / heart broke and hangin’ on.”
The instant country classic was penned by hit tunesmiths Jimmy Yeary (Tim McGraw’s “I Called Mama”), Bart Butler (Jon Pardi’s “Heartache on the Dance Floor”) and Will Bundy (Ella Langley’s “Country Boy’s Dream Girl”).
A bluegrass-rooted traditionalist with modern appeal, the Virginia-bred Hatcher continues to build momentum following his breakout debut EP Honky Tonk Hideaway and Top 10 Most Added debut radio single, “When She Calls Me Cowboy.” With “Any Other Girl,” he leans deeper into his signature blend of heartfelt storytelling and easygoing country swagger.
The song carries a deeply personal meaning for Hatcher:
“‘Any Other Girl’ will forever be one of the most special songs in the world to me because it was the last song that I showed my mom that I was working on before her passing,” Hatcher says. “She said it was her all-time favorite song and she would request I play it anytime I was back home. For that reason, it’ll always have a very special place in my heart.”
Known for his relentless touring schedule, playing more than 150 shows annually with his high-energy live performances, Hatcher has built a rapidly growing fanbase of nearly one million followers across social platforms. His digital reach includes over 71 million organic views on TikTok alone, helping position him as one of the genre’s most exciting emerging voices. Look for Hatcher on the road with Hank Williams Jr., Josh Turner, Joe Nichols, Zach Top, Craig Morgan, Neal McCoy, David Lee Murphy and Clay Walker.

With “Any Other Girl,” Spencer Hatcher continues to bridge the gap between traditional country roots and a fresh, modern sound that is proving he’s not just building buzz, he is building a lasting career.
ABOUT SPENCER HATCHER
Stone Country Records’ Spencer Hatcher is a bluegrass-influenced country artist who was raised on a farm in the heartland of Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley. By the age of 11, he was already playing his five-string banjo in his family’s bluegrass band. In 2020, Hatcher formed his own country band, backed by younger brother Connor Hatcher, a bass prodigy and “blood harmony” supporting vocalist.
Dubbed the “String King” by his hometown newspaper and quickly developing a reputation across Virginia and neighboring states as an exciting live performer, Hatcher self-booked and played more than 150 shows a year in both 2023 and 2024, often setting venue attendance records.
Hatcher has built a strong fan base, including nearly one million social media followers. On TikTok alone, the rising star has amassed over 71 million organic views and 8.9 million likes. This led to a high-profile partnership with PepsiCo, with Hatcher co-writing and performing a bluegrass jingle for a nationwide commercial for Mountain Dew Major Melon.
Hatcher’s debut EP, Honky Tonk Hideaway, features his steamy debut single, “When She Calls Me Cowboy,” which was a Top 10 Most Added Song at U.S. Country Radio (Mediabase) out-of-the-box. The single’s official music video has reached No. 1 on Taste of Country’s fan-voted “Top 10 Video Countdown.” Saving Country Music has lauded the rising star as “one of the most promising up-and-coming voices in traditional country music.”
