Ryan Jewel Delivers a Heartfelt Love Story with New Single “Live That Long,” Out Now

NASHVILLE, TN (March 13, 2026) – With a rich, buttery baritone steeped in country music’s traditional roots, rising singer/songwriter Ryan Jewel delivers songs that feel both timeless and lived-in. Blending classic country nostalgia with a modern edge, Ryan’s voice commands attention with equal parts grit and grace – powerful enough to fill a room, yet intimate enough to feel deeply personal, as showcased on his brand new single “Live That Long,” out now.

Rooted in vivid storytelling penned by esteemed tunesmiths Dave Turnbull and Jeremy Bussey, the song captures the beauty of commitment, family and the quiet moments that turn love into a lifelong journey. At the heart of “Live That Long” is a moving message: life only feels complete when the one you love is there to share it. The song’s emotional centerpiece shines through in the chorus:

I wanna live till I’m ninety
Baby just like this, with you right here beside me
I’ll take every extra minute the good Lord feels like giving
But if I had to face one day with you gone
I wouldn’t wanna live that long

“The first time I heard this song, it made me think about my grandparents and the beautiful love they shared. They were together for 66 years and when they passed away within six months of each other, it made sense why one couldn’t live without the other – their love ran that deep,” shares Ryan. “I think that kind of love is something we’re all looking for and hoping to find at some point in our lives. When people listen to ‘Live That Long,’ I hope they’re able to find their own stories in it, just like I have mine.”

Born and raised in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley, Ryan first picked up a guitar in high school and quietly began honing the voice that would become his calling. While earning a degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology at Clemson University, he started playing tailgates, fraternity parties and local bars to make extra money – but it didn’t take long for music to prove it was more than a side hustle. Now based in Nashville, Tennessee, Ryan has built a loyal following through his authentic storytelling and radio-ready sound, as reflected on his 2024 full-length debut album Same Bar, Different Town, which produced two charting singles including the title track and “Owe It All To You.”

Readying his forthcoming sophomore album for release this summer, Ryan has reunited with acclaimed multi-instrumentalist and longtime friend Ilya Toshinsky to produce the project. His heartfelt new single “Live That Long,” along with recently released track “Ain’t Going Nowhere,” offer fans an early preview of the anticipated new record. A captivating live performer, Ryan has shared the stage with some of the genre’s most respected names, including Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan, Marty Stuart, Lauren Alaina, Little Texas, John Anderson and Neal McCoy.
